Getting the kids back to school
The start of the school year usually makes people think of cool weather, playing outside, bike riding and going to parks and playgrounds. It is the quintessential back to school experience. In Arizona, however, where the August temperature still averages above 100 degrees, outdoor activities aren’t only unrealistic; they can cause heat exhaustion. The transition back to school from summer freedom, sitting behind a desk all day will probably result in lots of pent-up energy and frustration for your kids. Krazy Air, however, provides a safe, air-conditioned opportunity for families to spend time together and kids to work off that extra energy.
Here are three ways to escape the heat:
- Open Jump
- Mommy & Me
- Family Fun Night
Open jump is open to all ages and all fitness levels. The 28,000 square foot indoor trampoline park has more than enough room so that kids and parents alike can build up a sweat and have a ton of fun, without the danger of heatstroke that could happen outside. The best part? Your kids can play together if they are getting along, or there is plenty of room to play apart if they aren’t.
Mommy and Me
During the school year, it can be hard to find fun activities for younger kids. These kids are less likely to be satiated by electronics, smartphones, and television, and who wants any child glued to those all day anyhow? “Mommy and Me” time is the ultimate playdate, with kids 7 and under jumping for two full hours and parents admission is free with their child. Two full hours of jumping? Maybe mommy will actually have some time to herself when the kids0 actually nap!
Family Fun Night
The family is always a priority, but being able to come up with something for the entire family to do that they all enjoy is definitely the challenge. Thankfully, parents can take advantage of family night, which is every Monday from 5 until closing time. Kids and parents can have adventures and exercise, enjoying each other’s company without the buildup of irritability caused by high temperatures and low expectations of fun.
It isn’t easy to be a parent and it’s even more difficult when you have irritable, overheated children with the energy of three kangaroos and no way to use it. Thankfully, Krazy Air provides the perfect place for them to jump.
